Account & data deletion

Last updated: 7 February 2026This page explains how you can delete your Whispair account and/or delete certain data without deleting your account.Delete your account in the app (recommended)1. Open Whispair.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Scroll to Danger zone.
4. Tap Delete my account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm.When you delete your account, we delete your account and the data you own in Whispair, including:- Global whispers you created
- 1-on-1 conversations and inbox messages
- Frozen whispers
- Profile chapters, profile pictures, and other images you uploaded
- Other content and data associated with your accountSome limited data may remain in backups and logs for a short time as described in our Privacy Policy’s retention section.Delete some data without deleting your accountDepending on the feature, you can delete certain content from within the app, such as:- Your global whispers
- ConversationsIf you can’t access the appEmail us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your Whispair account and include:- Your Whispair username
- The request (“Please delete my account”)We may ask for additional information to verify you own the account before processing the request.Privacy PolicySee our Privacy Policy for more details about how we handle and retain data.
